The Cisco Meraki MS130R-8P-HW is a rugged, cloud-managed Layer 2 switch built to operate in harsh environments where reliability, durability, and connectivity are critical. Designed for outdoor, industrial, and utility deployments, this compact switch supports full Gigabit Ethernet and advanced PoE functionality in a hardened IP30-rated enclosure.

Equipped with eight 1G Ethernet ports and two 1G SFP uplinks, the MS130R-8P offers flexibility for edge connectivity while delivering up to 240W of total PoE budget. MS130R-8P is ideal for powering outdoor access points, IP cameras, sensors, and other field devices. Each port supports up to 30W, enabling deployment of high-demand endpoints without the need for separate power supplies.

The switch is designed to tolerate extreme operating conditions from -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C). It includes mounting options for DIN rails, walls, or racks, making it versatile for use in warehouses, parking structures, roadside cabinets, and other non-traditional settings.

With centralized cloud management through the Meraki Dashboard, administrators can remotely configure, monitor, and troubleshoot without dispatching technicians on site.
